在新浪网看到一条新闻，标题叫：情妇被裁后心有不甘制造坠崖案。不知道是真是假，这年头新浪的新闻也说不准。不管是真是假，我觉得应该拍成电影。 故事大概就是说青岛那边有一个大款，养了5个情妇。但是经济不好了，他养不起了，就想出个馊主意，让5个情妇pk出一个包养名额。结果跟他在一起时间最常的那个情妇第一个就被pk下去了，她无法接受，就约了那个大款和其他几个情妇一起出去玩，结果开着车从悬崖上开了下去。这个世界真是无奇不有，让人看不懂。

I read an article on Sina today, the title was “Jilted Mistress cause cliff accident”. I don't know if it’s a real story or not, because these days you never know, I don't trust any news I get online anymore. But regardless of the truthfulness of the article, I really think someone should make a movie out of it.

上个星期天是母亲节。我的一个朋友给我发了封email。内容如下：

[color=Blue]1、儿时，小男孩家很穷，吃饭时，饭常常不够吃，母亲就把自己碗里的饭分给孩子吃。母亲说，孩子们，快吃吧，我不饿！——母亲撒的第一个谎 
　　 
2、男孩长身体的时候，勤劳的母亲常用周日休息时间去县郊农村河沟里捞些鱼来给孩子们补钙。鱼很好吃，鱼汤也很鲜。孩子们吃鱼的时候，母亲就在一旁啃鱼骨头，用舌头舔鱼骨头上的肉渍。男孩心疼，就把自己碗里的鱼夹到母亲碗里，请母亲吃鱼。母亲不吃，母亲又用筷子把鱼夹回男孩的碗里。母亲说，孩子，快吃吧，我不爱吃鱼！——母亲撒的第二个谎

星期天一大早6:30就爬了起来，我一定是疯了！老早就答应朋友要去摘草莓的，所以只好赶过去。车胎被钉子扎了，还要先去补胎，真是好事多磨。有了车以后还是第一次往青浦方向开，路不是很熟，路标又不清楚，结果走了很多弯路。

走A9 沪青平高速到A30安亭方向，然后从赵屯/白鹤出口出去。过了收费口后，第一个路口向右转，然后下一个路口向左转，一直走。当在左边看到东方酒楼时，转右。这时突然有很多人冲向我们的车，让我们到他家去摘草莓。我们又向前继续开了200米左右。因为我们一共4家人，就选了两个草莓鹏，2家人在一个棚里采。

上星期天美国夏威夷发生了6.7级的地震，今天我收到一封来自朋友Michael的邮件。他全家都住在夏威夷，地震发生时他正在外面跑步，因为下着雨，他都没有感觉到地震。非常幸运的是，他的家人都没事。他老婆抱着几个月的孩子，又叫7岁的儿子迅速的准备一个包一起逃了出去。当Michael回到家中时，一切都已过去。想不想知道他7岁的儿子到底在包里装了些什么？

1.一张全家人的照片　（因为他认为这可能是世界末日，而他也许会成为唯一的幸存者，他需要留下这张照片来记住他的家人）

A story sent to me by my friend Zhaohui: 

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.  One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water. At the end of the long walk from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.  Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

昨天下班回家，看到帮我们做清洁的阿姨留在桌上的纸条：

“今天实在对不起了。擦水晶球的时候不小心把这只水晶球碰坏了，后来又把那只海螺掉了地上碎了。嗨！今天不知怎么搞的，心里真难过。只好说声对不起了。”

然后纸条旁边是一个裂开了一个口的水晶球。我一看，她倒真会摔，是我那么多水晶球里最便宜的一个，而且是在上海买的，应该说随时可以再买一个。再看看架子上的其他100多个水晶球都被她擦得锃亮锃亮的。其实我平时都没有要求她帮我擦，因为太多了。可是我一直也没有时间自己擦，所以时间一长确实集了不少灰。大概阿姨实在看不下去了，就主动帮我擦干净了，结果就出了这个意外。其实她也是好心，不应该怪她，她的行为应该鼓励。我看她写的纸条就想她一定很难过，所以赶快让老公打电话给她，告诉她没关系。而且谢谢她帮我把水晶球都擦得那么干净。

This is a story that I read a long time ago that meant a lot to me:

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employercontractor of his plans to leave the house building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoying his extended family.  He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. They could get by.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.
