I have a lot of friends who don't read Chinese, so I will try to write every blog in both Chinese and English. Some topics if I don't think my foreign friends will be interested in, I will just write in Chinese only. 
我有很多朋友不会看中文，所以我会尽量做到中英文对照。有些文章我觉得中国朋友可能没有兴趣知道我就只写英文。

There is a famous saying from the classic movie "Casablanca": "Out of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine." Well, today, "Out of all the countless blogs in all the websites in all the world, you walked into mine." It must be fate. 

经典电影《卡萨布兰卡》里有一句很有经典的对白："世界上有那么多的城市和那么多的酒吧，她偏偏走进了我的。" 那么，今天，“世界上虽然有无数的网站和blog，你偏偏走进了我的。” 是我们的缘分。

Who am I? My name is Lisa. 
我是谁？朋友们叫我小军，或者Lisa. 

Where do I come from? I was born in a small farm in northern China, very close to Russia. My family moved to Nanjing when I was 8, and then we immigrated to the US the year of the 1984 Olympics. 
我从哪里来？我出生在中国北部的一个小农场，几乎接近苏联的边界。8岁那年我们全家搬到了南京。1984年奥运会那年我们全家又移民到了美国。

Where am I now? Now I live in Shanghai, China. 
我现在在哪里？我住在上海。

What do I do? I am running a classified post magazine and website here in Shanghai called Infotree. It’s is sort of like the Pennysaver in California. 
我是干什么的？我在做一份分类广告的刊物和网站叫《消息树》。

What are my favorite things to do? All sports, especially field hockey, tennis, ping-pong, badminton, soccer, basketball. Studying new languages, traveling to exotic places，archeology. 
我最喜欢做的事是什么？所有体育运动，特别是曲棍球、网球、乒乓球、羽毛球、足球、篮球。学习新的语言、旅游、 考古、看云、写日记。

What's my Pet Peeve?  People who cut in line, people who won't give their seats to the elderly, People who are late for meetings.
我最受不了什么？　插队的人、不让座给老人的人、约我开会却迟到的人。

What do I care most about? My family, my husband, China, and Infotree. 
我最关心什么？我的父母和姐姐们、我的老公、中国、《消息树》。

Hi Zombie, I know what you mean. Sometimes the elderly do not want people to treat them as old, that's understandable. But most times, the gesture is appreciated. So don't be discouraged, keep contributing to building our "harmonius society". 

Your blog is a nice place to be.I visit here regularly.
I do not understand  why people who won't give their seats to the elderly will peeve you.If you want to be in good temper everyday then you will not be able to travel by bus or metro only if you live in a "harmonious society",but it's a looooooong way to built the "harmonious society"..Sometimes when you release your seat to one elderly men,he will consider that you take him as sick and old.Last time,I got no thanks after I release my seat to a Shanghai old women......................
